I attended a wedding this afternoon and I really appreciated the way the priest officiated and witnessed the ceremony….

The mood is always happy when I see couples tie the knot….I just wish that the “love” between couples will always last forever….and they would fall in love with each other again and again….falling in love with each other also means falling in love with the “same person”….the same husband and wife all over again^^…..

There was a movie shown years ago and I had forgotten its title but the story was about family life….about love between husband and wife as well as parents and their children….I find the movie interesting because there was a scene wherein the daughter was asking her father why he was divorcing her mother….The father said it’s because he had fallen out of love with his wife or her daughter’s mom….So the daughter said….” Now I knew Dad why you were divorcing our mother….it’s because you fell out of love with my Mom”….Then suddenly the daughter asked her father…..”Dad will there be a possibility too that you will forget about us as well?….The father said,….”Ofcourse not!!!….How could I forget you….never will I lose my love for you”…..But the daughter was really confused and asked her Dad….”But Dad?” she said….”Will you also fall out of love on us just like what you did to our Mom?”….”Will there come a time also that you will fall out of love on us?”….”By then I guess you will also leave us just like what you did to my Mom”…..The father didn’t know what to say after that….It was really touching coz the father shed some tears and embraced her daughter after that….Yes I guess building a strong marriage and a family is really important….coz in the end the children are the ones who suffer from our immaturity and irresponsibility….

How do you read a newspaper? Well as for me I try to choose only what I need to read. Ofcourse there are some bad news and good news in a newspaper and we can’t help but to view the bad news as well yet I always look for the good news first before reading the bad news^^I just find it so unfair when people sensationalize the news and it’s always been that way.

I thought about this because I wonder why we love to criticize or ostracize people. Why do we never care about other people’s feelings just to make our news the best news in the world. Why do we always compete with one another. “Our nation is better than your nation. Our people are better than your people”. I just wonder why we can’t be fair with each other.

We all have our own hidden agenda. We don’t do things out of love instead we do things only for our selfish interests. That’s why we try to pull each other down instead of promoting what’s best for each other.

Love your neighbor as our Father says. Forget our hidden agenda. Do things out of love not out of selfishness.

Weather has been so unpredictable these days….not only these days actually but as always….So we should really know how to cope with weather conditions isn’t it?….And speaking of coping with changes…..we’ve just attended a wedding this afternoon…..and ofcourse there were also changes on the way we celebrate our weddings…..In the exchange of “I do’s”, the bride and the groom used the word “babes” instead of their names to profess their love with each other…..Well anyway that’s what they want to call each other so let us give it to them…..As the priest said, in a wedding the real gift that you’ll receive on that day is your own wife or your own husband…..I think the secret for a marriage to succeed is when you accept your wife or your husband for who he is(be patient with each other)….and help each other grow as husband and wife (support and understand each other)…..And most importantly let God be the center of your marriage…..to be able to survive trials that will come your way….and you will surely have a happy and worthy union….

There was an old man who begs on the street yet I find some people so kind to him maybe because there’s an effort on his part to sing to those who pass by the street …At least we can consider him as an entertainer as well isn’t it?….Though I had wished that he could be singing somewhere in a  more convenient place rather than on a sidewalk….and that he has a family who takes care of him….

While we were passing by, the old man was trying to check his microphone because I think it has no battery anymore….He said “hello…hello” many times but it has no sound anymore…. And without losing hope he still sang probably his fave song in a much louder voice^^…..

Though he may have entertained people with his singing and maybe he felt that’s the only way for him to survive, still the sight of that man singing on the sidewalk haunts me in a way coz he reminds me of a father or a helpless grandfather who should be taken care of……That’s why I always say that every family should unite and take good care of each other…..

Whenever I see some helpless people that’s when I felt how blessed we have been…..Let’s not forget the people who exert effort despite the hardships they face in life…..Let’s follow Christ…..We’ve got to make our own sacrifices….exert more effort to unite our families and love our brothers and sisters…..Let’s wipe the blood and tears from Christ’ face so that there will be less helpless people on the streets who beg for our love and compassion…..and we will not be haunted by those suffering faces every now and then…..

I had a meeting with our students’ parents today. I appreciate their mere presence in school during the meeting. They really wanted to see how their kids fare in school. Some parents were not around and I understand why. Most of them are working parents and they just send representatives for them. Although maybe some were working parents yet they try to find some time to attend the meeting knowing how important it is to show support to our children.

It does count to our kids when we attend such meetings for their sake. Once when we were camping I heard one of my students saying, “My parents do not really care about me… they were too busy to even visit me in this camp. Their mind is on our business always I don’t think they even care about me”….Of course it isn’t true. I knew those parents she mentioned. I knew how they work hard for their children just to send them to school. Their children had been my former students as well and they had shown support to them before.  Maybe this one who joined the camp was at that time passing through what we call puberty stage. I really noticed some changes in her then. She felt she isn’t loved because her peers get things she couldn’t get from her parents.  At that time she couldn’t understand her parents situation and that they need to earn a living for them. She is actually just like some students who would easily rebel against their parents without even thinking about the hardships or sacrifices their parents had done for them. I guess peer pressure is another factor to consider when we rebel against our parents…..

So during the meeting with parents I asked them to show concern and love to their children but make sure that their children will appreciate that love given to them….Make sure that your children remain respectful of you coz it isn’t enough that we provide them love but we should also teach them the value of appreciating that love we share with them….What love was it then?….It should be true love….true concern….Let us not spoil our children….because when they could no longer get what they wanted all those sacrifices and love that we had provided them will just be in vain..

I just wanna share some things to you today my blog….I was glad to have more time in teaching my niece now than before….Yes I was like focus on other things and I forgot to spend quality time with my niece…. She really needs me….I see her interest in learning her lessons…I also admire Ella’s dad, he’s really the one who exert lots of effort in teaching my niece…and what I do to her is just a small effort….unlike what her parents sacrifice for her….Now I realize how important it is to spend quality time with our love ones….I mean it isn’t about being with them all the time or most of the time… but it is how we use the time we have with them….

We had a half day seminar in school…..We were in “ICU” because my boss got angry when some were not able to make it on time and some were not around…..They have reasons though for not making it…..so I guess our boss will understand in time^^……

Well it’s quite difficult at times to lead some teachers including me^^……coz we are already stubborn^^…..So if you want to become a school head you’ve got to have lots of patience^^in dealing with your subordinates or fellow  workers….

Well speaking on behalf of my fellow teachers we aren’t really that stubborn^^…..Our boss is just expecting much from us…..because she could really depend on us actually…..I know if ever there will be movements among schoolheads I know she will surely miss us^^…..and we will miss her too……for she has always wanted what’s best for us^^

They say as we grow older we become more sensitive^^

A week ago my grandson Jaja was scolded by his Lolo Turing, his great grandpa…..just because of a “misunderstanding”^^….

It’s because of “The Incredibles”^^….

Lolo Turing can’t hear well anymore because he needed to have a hearing aid already….So when he was asking Jaja…..”My grandson, what are you watching right now?”…..Jaja softly said “The Incredibles”….But Lolo Turing didn’t hear so he asked Jaja again of what movie he was watching….Jaja got irritated and said aloud…”The INCREDIBLES!”….but still Lolo Turing couldn’t hear^^…OMG…he needed a hearing aid already^^…..so he asked again…..”Hey….what are you watching?”…..Jaja had a really big big voice and shouted “THE INCREDIBLES!!!!!”……OMG….his great grandpa really got so angry that there were smoke in his ears and held Jaja and spanked him many times T_T…..”You little brat….you don’t respect me anymore!!!”, he angrily said….and so he hit Jaja and he just stopped when he saw Jaja’s Mom crying already….

I think Lolo Turing’s becoming too sensitive….that’s what we concluded including Jaja’s Mom….

So now everytime great grandpa asks Jaja about anything….the little boy would come close to grandpa’s ears and would tell him anything he was asking….haha^^….Oh my…how much is the hearing aid btw^^….Well we all experience “misunderstanding” most of the time isn’t it?….Well it’s because we give meaning to those we should’t give meaning to….and at times we don’t give meaning to those that we should give meaning to^^…..Oh life^^…..Still I think life is so sweet,wonderful, amazing, incredible^^

Though it’s really so hard to call it quits…I think it’s when both of you realized that you are not helping each other to grow…you just hurt each other instead of loving each other….and when God is not within or the center of your relationship….Yes….you can save the relationship if you feel in your heart that God wants you to continue loving the other person….if not…it’s goodbye T_T yet  you could still be friends^^

It’s been quite a while and I haven’t listened to Fr. John Corapi and Fr. Benedict Groeschel of EWTN….Both are charismatic priests and they send messages of hope and love to others…Fr. Corapi speaks with authority coz he has so much passion in him but deep inside he is a softee and his weakness is Jesus Himself….Fr. Benedict is a softee too but he has a “hidden power” that makes people listen to him despite that weak voice of his…there is authority behind that softee image…and that authority comes from God….These men never cease to love Jesus…they are His’ voice…a voice that men should follow….A man becomes wiser when he listens to the Father…he becomes a fool when he doesn’t seek God…I could tell because I feel foolish when I can’t do what God wants me to do….I feel blessed on the other hand if I listen to His voice…Therefore seek to be wise….it’s never too late to be wise….really wise…
